We made it here safely

Ok we made it- here are some updates from Laura Stadler and Josh Patil

Hey its Laura Stadler, We Made it! guatemala is great so far even though its late and we havent met a ton of people yet but the locals that we have met are very friendly. Okay so going back to the flights... Tons of fun! Met new people and i even got the chance to talk to a couple from Guatemala ---we actually ended up talking about almost everything throughout the ride from texas to here. right before landing though we are able to see a full moon... it was beautiful yet the scene was a bit eerie but very neat. then we loaded the buses and rode to this place were we are bunking for the night. my room is pretty sweet and im bunking with some cool people. I cant wait for tomorrow!

Hello everyone it´s Josh Patil Here! Hola from Guatemala City, Guatemala! it was a long day of traveling and going through customs and what not, but now that it is finally done it was well worth it! we are just getting started, and everyone is pumped to be here! we just arrived at a seminary here in Guatemala City. When we arrived here we met our guatemalan missionaries and packed up all of our bags on the buses to drive over here! These bus drivers are neat-o! We are all bunking in dorms right now, and we will wake up tomorrow at 6:30 to let our adventures begin. I am so excited!!!

To all the leaders and students, after reading your posts...YOU ARE ALL AWESOME!!! simply because you so willingly have traded for two weeks the comfort and safety of your homes, your iPods, ISP, MP3s, PCs, TVs, cell phones; for cold showers, long days of hard work, restless nights...all in the name of God just to help our fellow brothers in another country and to spread God's word. Keep up the good work, we will all continue praying for your work and your safe return.

Andrew, we are proud of you, your work and your dedication...as well as your approach to "Expect the Unexpected"
    Miss you

    Mom & Dad
