A Day with the Sports and Drama team

Today the Sports and Drama team visited two schools in Malacatán. The team plays soccer with the Guatemalan students, then presents a drama about the love and power of Jesus Christ to change our lives.

Malacatán is the most tropical of our visits. The heat and humidity are a challenge for all, but the OCA team is persevering with God's leading. It's very humbling to have host families graciously share their homes and offer whatever they can to make their guests feel comfortable.

This evening was a special worship service for the young people of the community. Members of the church made invitations today at the various sites where the Wooddale teams were serving. We were reminded that each of us is a special creation of Diós. The pastor told us how it's no accident that we were brought by God from our comfort zone to Guatemala to serve.
