Hello to my babies! And my baby!
It is so great to see your faces and hear the stories of all he is doing in and through you. You are loved and missed but rest assured, you are right where you are supposed to be. We leave for the south side tomorrow. I will give your love to brad, shonnie and Joel. You keep doing his work and sharing the love of Christ all over gualvedor!
We are praying! We love you and believe that you are giving and gaining more than you ever imagined! And this is just a glimpse of his glory! Be good. Love, Mama Kelli

    Emily,
It was so fun to hear from you last night. It was SO strange to think you had internet access! As I'm reading about bucket showers and picturing you typing on the computer--crazy! We miss your laugh and your craziness around here. Elizabeth and I cleaned your car, and guess what--the inside is TAN!! Who knew?! :) On the serious side, we do miss you a lot, but are so thankful you are exactly where you are, in the perfect will of God. You have a heart that seeks after God's own, you will reflect His passion and love for these people, and you will bring joy. He will show Himself strong for you as your heart is completely His. We can't wait to hear about your interactions with the kids, the host families, and within your team! We are excited you will come home knowing even more who He perfectly created you to be and His plan for you to make a difference in this world. You were handpicked by the Father for this time. I love knowing you will give it everything you've got because that is who you are. We love you so much. I will continue to pray that He will work beyond what we could ask or imagine, for strength, energy, health and safety, for your heart and for transformation. And after reading these posts, I will also be praying for the technology. We love reading the posts. Stay strong and keep smiling and laughing! xoxo, Mom

Hope you are feeling well and able to sleep. It is so good to know the Lord is right there with you through every moment - raining or sunny, from your high school graduation 2 weeks ago to doing intakes in the market in Guatemala. what a privilege He has given you to join with Him in doing His work along with fellow workers. May the Guatemalans be inspired by your love & care for one another as well as your loving service to them, just as you so tenderly do here.Love M&D

Shelby we miss you so much and hope you are well and feeling God's presence in all that you are doing and experiencing. You are all in my prayers and as I was praying scriptures for teenagers, I want to share for leaders and teenagers something from the book, continue to put your faith in the God of Exodus 3:14, the One who is known as "I Am". Put it in the God of Psalm 145:13, the One who is "faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made." Put it in the God of Lamentations 3:22, the One whose mercy and compassion never fails. Put it in the God of Philippians 1:6, the One who promises that he will be faithful to bring to completion the good work he has begun in us/you. Put your faith in the God who is.
It has been so good to hear your stories as you travel and know other things we can pray about.
I can hardly wait to see your smiling faces and share hugs and more hugs.
Grandma Murphy says hi and sends her love Shelby, and me too:-)

Olo David! Thank you for your blog, we were happy to hear that you've been safe and and having incredible adventures! It has been so neat reading about how God is working in the lives of your group and how He is transforming the hearts of not only the Guatamalian people but also the OCA team! We have been keeping you, your peers, and the leaders in our prayers daily. Sam, Daddy, and I went to Back to the 50's hot rod show at the fair grounds, we saw Phil and and his Dad in their 1957 Ford F100awesome bright yellow truck, it was pretty neat! Love you lots!!! Be safe and make good choices. XOXOXO.... Mom, Dad, and Sam, and Maggie too.
